I need a copy of a receipt for an in-store purchase
My receipt is lost/damaged. When I call the apple support number, I get tech support, who can't help me, who routes me to sales, who can't help me.
When I dial the main number for the store I get:
"I'm an agent who can understand complete sentences, how may I help you today?"
"I need a copy of a receipt."
"Was that an online order, in store, or for a part?"
"In store".
"Let me transfer you". (rings once)
"Thank you for calling Apple, all of our representatives are helping other people, please hold for the next agent"
(dead air)
(call drops after five minutes)
If someone from inside apple sees this, you need to fix this issue.
In the mean time, your people are all pointing at other departments like the spider man meme. This happens both on the phone and in live chat.
