Can’t access my old iPod touch

Hi! I have an old iPod Touch and it has my old icloud account linked to it. I have access to the email linked to the icloud account but the iPod doesn’t give me any options to reset the password. (I can’t even unlock it cause it asks for the account) I tried to reset it on my other device but it’s asking for a phone number associated with the old account and i have no idea what number it is… can anyone help? is there any way to reset just with the email?!
