Presentation Clicker compatible w/ MacBook/PPT?

I cannot find a presentation clicker that is compatible with a MacBook and a PPT presentation. I've tried several. Does anyone have a recommendation before I pull out another brand of laptop for presentations?

Ask in a the Microsoft Powerpoint for Mac forum over at Microsoft. Maybe they know of an option. A wireless mouse might work, but I’m not at all current on PowerPoint. (This is centrally a PowerPoint app support question, too.)

My recent presentations have all been done using Keynote from an iPhone or from an iPad. Watch to advance slides. I can hand off the entire iPhone as needed too, or the iPad can stay propped up on the podium with the speaker notes visible. This with AirPlay directly, or with AirPlay to an Apple TV on the podium wired. Or classic presentation directly with wiring and Watch, if I’m not adding to my step count while presenting.

Thanks. Are there any clickers? Presentations are very often more than one presenter, so a device needs to be shared, and besides I don't have an Apple watch. I am hoping to purchase a clicker. It seems like digging up another brand laptop for presentations may be the best option.

This was the first of several that came up when I typed "presentation clicker mac" into the search box on Amazon.

Presentation Clicker (Amazon)

There was a more expensive one by Logitech, a well known brand and one that's probably available on their websites or other retailers if you prefer to avoid Amazon.
