Unable to update MacBook Monterey to newer versions
I’m facing a frustrating issue with my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) and I’ve hit a wall with updating macOS. I’ve tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked. Hoping someone here can help
Current situation:
- macOS Monterey is installed
- I want to update to Sequoia, Sonoma, or Ventura.
- Every attempt to update ends in an error
What I’ve done so far:
- Free up my storage
- Ensured my Wi-Fi connection is stable
- Resetted NVRAM
- Reinstalled OS
- Used first aid, turned out great!
- Kept the charger plugged inside
- Removed Bootcamp services
- Opened the lids
- Checked Apple's server status
- Tried all possible update methods: App Store, System Settings updates, direct downloads, Internet Recovery (Except for USB drives, I do not have a USB so yeah :D)
Additional context:
- I previously tried to jump from Big Sur directly to Sequoia, which didn't work out so I updated to Monterey
- My MacBook is compatible with 13.0 and later versions
The issue:
Despite having all requirements done and using standard methods, the update keeps failing. I’ve seen community posts, but none of the solutions worked out for me
Has anyone been experiencing a similar problem or have a reliable workaround? I’d greatly appreciate any guidance, as I’m running out of options and need it for educational purposes
Thank you so much in advance!
(This is my second call for help)
