There is no current feature on iPhone to schedule an iPhone to power on or off.

If this is a feature you'd like to see (I certainly wouldn't want such a feature), you can share your thoughts with Apple here --> Feedback - iPhone - Apple

You would have to turn it back on manually, but you could create a shortcut to turn off your iPhone. Then set an automation for the shortcut. What are you trying to achieve?

I didn't go there, because even with an automation to power the phone off, it requires a confirmation step. Not quite what the Author is looking for if they really want to have the phone power off at a specific time and power on at a specific time on a schedule.

i already gave the feedback previous also and given before posting this also, but it’ll not help. I need any alternative for this if possible.

If you sent feedback that’s all you can do. There is NO option in iOS to do what you want. There are NO alternatives either. An iPhone cannot be set to power down or power up on a time schedule, period.

Rather than turning the iPhone off, consider suppressing notifications and other activity through the Focus feature. The Focus mode can be automatic based on time or based on location.
Rather than turning it off to save battery, put it on the charger instead.
Force-quit buggy apps, or better yet uninstall them.

This is the RIGHT advice. Powering off the phone won't preserve the battery in any meaningful way. I NEVER power my phone off. My phone is iPhone 16 Pro Max, which I've owned since launch day and my battery health is 99%. My phone is plugged in to charge when I go to bed at night EVERY night with a sleep focus enable on a schedule. I wake to a phone charged to 100%, good for a full days use.

The closest you'll get is iOS's Inactivity Reboot feature where if your iPhone is inactive for 3 days, it will automatically reboot and bring it back to the Before First Unlock State.

Again, something I didn't address (but I am aware of) as it doesn't come close to what the Author is looking for and of course what they are looking for doesn't exist.

If it is truly off, how can any software turn it on? If you turn your car off, can it turn itself on?

And if it can turn itself on, it couldn’t possibly be completely off.

FWIW, unless Find My Network is turned off, it uses battery and isn't really off.

And some folk report here that their phones spontaneously turn on.

Well … fair question … maybe not THAT important … 🫣

I have a few devices which are infrequently used (all usually kept running in Airplane Mode).

One device (for now, more next month) is an iOS 18 iPhone. [It’s actually the “hot spare” for my primary “carried” device]

I generally get to all of them within 72 hours … but not always.

I had noticed the iOS 18 iPhone asking me for the passcode unexpectedly. (I think to myself … “Hmmm, has it really been a week already … ??? … it’s asking so I guess so.”

It hadn’t happened enough for me to detect the trend … but I’m sure it would have “triggered” me soon enough; esp. once there are multiple iOS 18 “spares.”

How can I schedule power on and off on my iPhone 16?
