While playing video recorded on my trail cam I can only fast forward at the 2X speed. All the other fast forward speeds freezes the video. If I rewind the video all the rewind speeds work. Macbook pro running 15.6.1 and Quicktime 10.5. Any idea of why this happens and how to fix it?

Do movies from other devices play OK with 2x speed? If yes, maybe QT Player somehow does not fully support movies from that trail cam. Can some other player like IINA play that movie any better, it has the following speed options via Video > Show Video Panel:
I have an older Macbook Pro running 12.7.6 and Quicktime 10.5, which is the same Quicktime as my newer Macbook Pro. The same video on the older Macbook Pro fast forwards at all the fast forward speeds. This leads me to believe that it is an issue with Sequoia. If it was an issue with Quicktime or the trail camera why does the video rewind at all the speeds?
