It also looks like a voice call was simultaneously in-progress during your “failure” screenshot ??? (Don’t know if that would matter … but it might)
These simple “can’t do any harm” steps have been thought to have helped others with inexplicable “wallet behavior” issues.
- Power your phone completely “off” and back “on.”
Then …
- Sign “out” and back “in” to your Apple Account.
