GUI applications not displaying on MacBook Pro M2 with macOS Ventura 13.3.1

Hi,

I am using an Apple M2 Pro with Ventura 13.3.1 (22E261). Recently, I attempted to install a couple of GUI applications, such as Raspberry Pi Imager and Kiro. However, none of these applications are displaying their GUIs; I can see the processes running in the background, but the interfaces do not appear. I have also checked the Privacy settings to ensure everything is configured correctly.

Could anyone please advise me on how to debug this issue? I have looked at the console log, but I haven't had much success. Thank you!

Thanks in advance.

Original Title: GUI Applications doesn't open

Start by updating Ventura to the current version macOS Ventura 13.7.8

The existing version being run on the computer was released April 7, 2023

It always a good idea to not let the computer get too far behind in updates

There are numerous bug fixes

There are several security fixes that if not updated on the computer can leave it vulnerable
