Downloaded Document doesn't stay open long enough to read it
My Son's downloaded documents don't stay open long enough for him to read it. Is there a setting I can change to make it stay opened for as long as I want?

That does not make sense however other than a symptom you have provided no additional clues. I would recommend that you run an EtreCheck report of the system and we can look for anything that may be causing the problem. EtreCheck can be a paid for app or you can use the trial version for free which is what I would recommend. Please do the following:
