How can I unlink my Apple Account from my child's and get my contacts back?

My phone has linked with my child’s through family share we share a Apple ID

as a result my phone has now lost all my own contacts and seems to be mirroring my child’s phone

I checked iCloud for my contacts and no luck where would they be and how to reset my phone ?

Contacts are tied to email accounts. And yes, since your child shares your Apple Account, they can remove your contacts if they want. Your first mistake was setting up your child's iPhone with your Apple Account. ALL family members, even children should have their own unique Apple Account. Read this --> Make sure that each family member has a unique Apple Account - Apple Support

Then read this about how to set up an Apple Account for your child --> Create an Apple Account for your child - Apple Support

Then use Parental Controls on their phone --> Use parental controls on your child's iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Until you do this, not only can your child delete things from your phone on their phone, they can also read your text messages and your phone call logs will be merged.
