Error 0xE80000A Trying to Sync iTunes Library

Hi Folks,

Specs

  • iPhone 16ProMax
  • Windows 11Pro 24H2 patched up to this month
  • CheckPoint ZoneAlarm EndPoint protection.

I'm trying to connect my iPhone to my Pc to Sync offline music. After hitting "trust" on the iPhone when connecting USB and entering Passcode iTunes displays 0xE80000A and cannot sync, or even show the phone as a device.

  • I've tried uninstalling Endpoint protection and re-trying. No change
  • I've tried uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling from MS Store. No change
  • Tried a different cable. No change
  • Deleted and re-installed Apple Mobile Device Driver. No change

iTunes diagnostics says I have no USB controllers (attached), which is not the case so don't know if compatibility issue somewhere there, or other issue? Has anyone experienced this and can advise?
