WiFi bands of Carplay used by cars
I wonder which WiFi bands of Carplay are used by cars. The information searched from the internet:
1. The hardware must support 802.11n 2.4 GHz HT20 or 802.11n 5 GHz HT20 or HT40, and it is recommended to support 802.11ac VHT20, VHT40, VHT80.
2. In terms of frequency bands, it must operate at 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. If operating in the 2.4 GHz band, the in-vehicle device (AP) can only operate on channels 1 (2.412 GHz), 6 (2.437 GHz), or 11 (2.462 GHz); if operating in the 5 GHz band, the in-vehicle device (AP) must operate on channels 36 (5.180 GHz), 40 (5.200 GHz), 44 (5.220 GHz), 48 (5.240 GHz), 149 (5.745 GHz), 153 (5.765 GHz), 157 (5.785 GHz), or 161 (5.805 GHz). It is recommended to operate in the 5 GHz band, and furthermore, the channel switch function should be restricted for use in CarPlay.
I am not sure are these correct so that I ask for help in the community. I would appreciate it if someone can tell me the answer.
