icloudphotos.exe keeps pinging googleusercontent domains

...months after a successful transfer, triggering google's anti-bot captcha (unusual activity detected, sometimes with the "select all the images with motorcycles" etc) when I'm using the web doing anything at all in google space. This is the second occasion over many months. I should say I BELIEVE that's the cause.

I checked on privacy.apple.com and see no indication of any transfer in process.

I don't want to have to firewall anything.

You can see that the antivirus (Bitdefender) is piping in, but that's expected.

'bc' is Compute Engine. https://cloud.google.com/compute (dont know why BC thou!)

Anyone can run a VPS on Google hardware, and basically do anything they like.

So its very unlikly to actully be controlled by Google, and sounds like it not even a 'crawler' it some other type of bot. A crawler would usually respect robots.txt

and

These aren't google bots or crawlers.

bc.googleusercontent.com is people running servers on Google cloud hosting servers, so customers not google, and it's on them to respect robots.txt or not.

If it's causing you issues, block the ip...

Seems like Apple is doing something here.
