iCloud+ safely move to new subscription post divorce without data loss.
My partner and I are currently divorcing and working our way through untangling our personal and digital lives.
In the relationship, I am the Apple fanboy and created and is the organiser for the family. Now the issue is that at one point in the past, my wife wanted to try Apple Music, and I so happened to need to increase my online storage to 2TB, so I set it up with iCloud+ + and increased the storage. While on her computer, we increased the iCloud storage and got Apple Music set up for her. Now, as we try to untangle things, I don't want to lose any of my files or storage. more than happy to pay extra while my files transition across. (I am still paying for the joint Plus subscription), But it's associated with her Apple ID. Family Sharing, on the other hand, I am the organiser. How am I able to ensure that my own files/storage / etc... are not lost? Once I am across in my own account, I can let my ex-wife know that she can take over and decide on what level of storage she requires for her files ongoing. I am just not wish to lose mine. (Note: nearly all of the various Apple purchases were made under my Apple ID, so not concerned with losing my apps. It's just don't wish to lose access to my files.. ) Any help and guidance would be wonderful, thank you.
