Siri will not play songs from my Apple Music library when asked.
When I ask Siri to "play the song ___" or "play ___ from my library" (and other versions of the command), she always responds with the error "I couldn't find ___ in your Apple Music library." What's stranger is that Siri has no problem playing albums or artists that I ask for, and if I ask "play the song ___ from the album/artist ___," she will just start shuffling the whole album/artist instead of playing the song I requested.
I don't use an Apple Music subscription and my music is downloaded directly to my library. I have tried restarting my phone, scouring through Siri's settings, and looking for answers online, but there doesn't seem to be a fix.
I can't say exactly when this started, but it has been going on for months now. This is currently happening on my iPhone XR, but I've seen Siri struggle with Apple Music on and off over the years across different devices and phone models.
Is there a way I can get Siri to play a specific song when I ask her to? Or is she broken on Apple's end and I'm unable to do anything about it?
