How do I change the Ad content that Safari keeps presenting me with

I keep getting toe fungus ads, painful arthritis's pictures, disgusting stuff for old people and people in failing health, ugly shoes, retirement advise. Should I change my age in my profile? I’m 71, in perfect health, take no medication, have no pain, ski,Mnt bike, kayak, sail. How do I end the onslaught of this garbage?

Complain to the website administrators.

Of course they will say they have no control over the advertisements they host, but the fact remains it is their choice to host them just as much as it is your choice to patronize them. You can change one of those things.

Are you still talking about Safari?

Apple News is an app and does have ads, but not accessible with Safari. I thought you were referring to using Safari for ads seen on websites. You can click a link on an Apple News story and it will take you to the web page referenced by the Publisher in Safari. If you have a screenshot, it may be easier to visualize what you are seeing.
