powerpoint lag with stock 3D model

Have new MacStudio (2025 M4 Max, 64GB) but experiencing massive lag on powerpoint when editing in-built (stock) 3D model. I do not have the lag on my old Mac (MacBook Pro M1 Pro 16 GB) when editing the same file. Using the same version of powerpoint (16.100.2) and MacOS (15.6.1) on both. CPU usage spikes over 100% when powerpoint lags (spinning ball) despite the new machine being more capable than the old one. Does anyone have any ideas of how I could rectify this?

Thanks

Mac Studio, macOS 15.6

Maybe there is a newer version more compatible with the current macOS (?)
