My iPhone suddenly has a black screen, but I’m pretty sure it’s still on. When I try to reset it by pressing the volume buttons and the side button, it vibrates, makes the emergency siren sound, and the flashlight turns on and off. It’s also been charging overnight. Does anyone know what might be going on?
Has your iPhone fallen off of any tables, chairs, beds or anything like that? That may be causing the back screen.
The siren, like lobsterghost1 said, is the Emergency SOS alarm. Do NOT use that unless it’s an emergency, such as a fire, a robbery or a critical medical issue
When you hold the volume button and power button at the same time that's what happens and you get the siren. Don't do that unless you're in an emergency situation.
