I use screen shot quite a lot and recently every screen shot messages pop up ? can you help please

Please take us though the exactly Keyboard Combination (s) being used to take a screen shot

There are several keyboard combinations to perhap a screen shot

Open the screenshot app using command-shift-5, then look at the options and see if you have it set to send it to Messages
