Any updates from Apple as to how to remove the “Game Mode off” notification every time you open a game? I know it’s off, I turned it off so the notifications wouldn’t keep coming up, but that didn’t work. It blocks the top of the game and I know it goes away eventually, but I just don’t want to see it all the time.

Apple doesn't participate here, nor read these posts for user feedback. This is a user to user only forum and we can't speak for Apple.
There is no way to permanently disable the Game Mode notification on iPhone. The only option currently is to turn it off when it appears when you first open a game. Note that there are benefits to this feature, which minimizes background activity for smoother game play. You are also welcome to provide feedback to Apple below regarding this new feature.
