Quality - Recorded video in portrait and then roatated to landscape

Hi

I filmed a concert video in landscape, but when I started the reocrding, my phone was in portait, which meant it saved in portrait.

A few questions:

  • The video is 4k. If I rotate it in the photos app, will video quality be affected?
  • Will my audio and video quality have been affected in the video (regardless of me rotating in in the ohotos app) because of the fact it was recorded in a different orienation.
  • Will the audio have been affeced as it was set recording in portrait but recorded in landscape (stereo audio, etc).

Thanks in advance :)

Resolution was set when it was recorded vertically rotating to horizontal won’t do anything, but resolution will be low and not 4K.

Audio quality in theory might be affected by orientation of mics. Mics are so close that there is little separation and stereo might not be that noticeable. Try switching to mono in your editing app and listen to what sounds best.
