Amazon EU prices shown in USD

Hello.

Every time I login into Amazon from Safari on my iPad (both normal and private mode) the site now shows the site prices in USD….the problem is that I’m not located in America, and in fact on any other device and browser including the app the prices remain in Euros — and the same happened on Safari up until literally a couple of days ago, whereas now they switch: if I browse the site as guest prices show up in Euros, but once I login the currency across site switches to USD.

Amazon of course said the fault is with the iPad (which probably is since on every other device prices don’t switch currency), so just to be sure I’ve tried deleting the browser’s cache, cookies and history both from the browser and the iPad settings and to reboot the iPad but the bug is still there.

Both iPadOS and the apps are up to date, so it’s not that.

Can someone help? Thank you in advance.

I said quite more than that — I said multiple times that I’m located in the EU, that my currency is the Euro and the problem happens on the EU sites (a few of them actually so my specific nation is irrelevant).

That was fairly clear from your first reply (where you asked if the problem was with the UK site when my initial post already mentioned the *EU* and Euros multiple times).

And I already provided specific details — I’m in EU and the problem occurs on multiple EU sites (my exact country is not relevant as the currency is the same on all of them).

So what device are you using? iPhone, iPad, Macintosh? And what region is it set to? UK? United States? Other country?

If iPad then...

Is your region set to the EU?

Settings->General->Language & Region->set to a country that is in the EU, like France for example. There is no EU region choice as such. After changing the region settings currencies and other region specific settings (temperature, metric, calendar, etc) will change automatically.

However..

Regarding Amazon the internet says Amazon has its own currency settings based on where it finds itself. You may want to look into your Amazon account settings as well.
