iCloud Drive upload problem

Whenever I try to upload a file that's more than a few MB, I get the error "..... file couldn't be uploaded. Try uploading the file later." I have enough space so that's not a problem, but I don't know what is. I'm on a Windows 11 PC and using the web version of the iCloud Drive. Any help would be appreciated.
