First charging of new MacBook Air

I've just bought my new MacBook Air. When I open the box the battery is charged to 65%. For the first time charging; do I empty the battery completely to 0%? Or is it better in a different way?

What was unclear? You're worrying unnecessarily. It doesn't matter if you just use the Mac straight away, or charge it to 100%, or 90% or let it drain to 17.34%. The power management in these machine has long since made all those concerns redundant.

You may be thinking of older battery tech where it was recommended to charge/discharge the battery in a certain way for a couple of battery cycles. As the others here have mentioned, this is no longer the case and no longer do you need to jump through hoops as far as the MacBook's battery goes. It's all done for you without your invervention.

Charge up the MacBook, enjoy it and use it without concern.
