Black paint peels off in spots (Apple Watch Series 10)

After less than six months of use, white spots appeared on the inside of my Apple Watch. I should point out that I don't have a case and that I clean it often. I don't use it at night or in water. Is this normal? It seems like a manufacturing defect...is there anything I can do? I've read that I'm not the only one and that many people complain about this defect, especially on black-painted devices.
