iPhone SE only connects to Wi-Fi after unlocking

Hello everyone,

Who could help me with the following problem?

When I turn on my business iPhone SE, it doesn't immediately connect to the Wi-Fi network, only to the regular network. I have to unlock my iPhone first. As soon as I do this, it connects to the Wi-Fi network immediately.

It's important that my business phone is also connected to the company Wi-Fi network. This is because I also have a secondary job as a company emergency responder (ERO). When I'm connected to the Wi-Fi, all EROs see that I'm there. In the event of an emergency, I receive a notification, just like all other EROs connected to the Wi-Fi network.

Why doesn't my iPhone connect to a Wi-Fi network right away? When I turn on my own iPhone 16, or earlier models of iPhones I've owned, they connect immediately without me having to unlock them first.

Thanks in advance for your tips.

Sander
