RICOH SP211 MacOS printer driver (works)

In a previous thread, the use of the Ricoh SP 211SU printer was raised,

and a driver was installed that makes it work as a printer but not as a scanner.

Is there another driver that makes it work as a scanner?

That looks to be roughly eleven years old, maybe older, and without AirPrint support.

It supports TWAIN, so the built-in Image Capture app probably works for scanning.

it also appears to support IPP, which means the Apple macOS CUPS printing will probably work.

If you decide to replace this, you absolutely want a printer with AirPrint support.
