URGENT: iphone 11: Swipe to unlock does not work (tried force restarting)

So basically, I have tried force restarting (press Vol UP, press Vol Down, Hold on to Power Button until apple logo comes up, and phone restarts itself). But this does not help.

Problem:

  • Cannot swipe up to unlock
  • I can slide the notifications to clear them, though
  • Camera button on the lock screen is also disabled
  • Basically cannot get into my phone in any way

Please help since this is the only phone I have.

When a notification comes in, why not try to open it instead of swiping it away? If you can get into the phone through the notification, then you can try going to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch ON. This will place a button on the screen that can mimic a lot of gestures including swipe up. Just in case it’s only the bottom of the display that isn’t working. But ultimately, if there is a multi-touch issue, the iPhone will probably need service as Brian suggested.
