403 error in MuseScore app on my iPad Air 2

ubject: 403 Error in MuseScore App

Hello, For the past few days, I haven’t been able to open any scores in the MuseScore app on my iPad.

Each time I try, I get this message: > “Oops! The app seems to be turned off in the background, please try refreshing. status: 403”

Here’s what I’ve already tried, but nothing worked:

Closing and restarting the app

Logging out and back in

Updating the app

Uninstalling and reinstalling the app

Checking my internet connection

Important detail: I can open scores perfectly in the browser and on my smartphone (where the app is also installed), so my account itself is fine.

Here is the type of iPad I have:

iPad Air 2

iPadOS 15.8.4

App version: 2.13.86

The error only happens in the app. The app support thinks there is a problem with my device and suggested me to contact you.

Could you please help me solve this issue? Thank you in advance,

melreb

Error 403 is a server-side status code meaning access to the requested resource is forbidden. The server understood the request, but will not fulfill it.

Put another way, you cannot access the page because you are not permitted access to it. The potential causes are many, including but not limited to your IP Address having been blocked.

You will need to seek assistance from the App Developer and/or MuseScore's online help resources.

As already outlined, only your service provider can resolve a server-side error. However, should you choose to do so, you can contact the Apple Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.

Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
