I have a new icloud account. I had one years ago, and I was able to recover the password. I have used the previous one on my Amazon account as my username. Now Amazon wants to send me a verifications code to that previous account, but the email is not active. Can I add a previous icloud email account to receive email

Having closed that iCloud eMail address, then go through Amazon to access it with only your password: Recover Your Account after Two-Step Verification Fails
According to the Site: "The verification process can take 1-2 days to complete. We'll email you to confirm once Two-Step Verification has been disabled. You'll then be able to access your account with only your password."
