Removing old and/or deleted accounts from “sign in with google” pop up window

This problem has annoyed me for the last five years and none of the existing discussions or guidelines resolve the specific dilemma.

To be clear: This situation is unrelated to Gmail, chrome, drive, YouTube, or any other google apps on my iPhone. It is also unrelated to the accounts set up in my iPhone or iCloud settings. I do not need help with this and there are plenty of existing “how tos” for removing accounts from those apps/settings.

Here, the issue is related exclusively to the pop up that appears on the log in pages of unrelated third party applications and websites, where you can click “sign in with google” or “continue with google” to sign in.

On apps that have been restored from old back ups, my previous google accounts continue to appear as options to sign in. For example, there are several work accounts for companies I no longer work for and the emails of exes from years ago. It’s very annoying that those anccounts are still there as options to log in.

I *just* figured out how to successfully remove the accounts, and I deleted 4 out of the 5. I figured I’d leave the last account for a separate attempt so I could document how I successfully removed the first 4 accounts.

Unfortunately, I’m stuck at the last step and struggling to figure it out again.

hopefully someone else can take a look at the screenshots below and see how they can make it past the last step?
