Car Play won’t work since IOS upgrade to 18.6.2

Ever since I upgraded to IOS 18.6.2, my Apple Car Play will not work on my car.

I’ve tried all suggested fixes to no avail.

i had this happen two upgrades ago as well.

will there be a new release to fix this bug or should I downgrade?

You can't downgrade iOS as that has never been supported, so that's not an option. CarPlay is tricky. Many things can interfere, like if you have a VPN on your iPhone, it will likely block the connection to your car. If you have a VPN get rid of it. They don't provide the security you think. And iPhone doesn't need one to begin with. Your cars infotainment system may need an update. And we have no clue what "all the fixes are" you've tried?

Things I'd try:

Force Restart your iPhone (something I do after EVERY iOS update --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
Forget your car in your iPhone and your cars infotainment system and pair the two fresh
