Should I allow my internet provider to access certain information

I recently noticed on the Xfinity (ComCast) app that default settings allow access to certain services such as Apple Intelligence & Siri, Search, Notifications, and Live Activities. For example, "Learn from this App" is on, allowing Apple Intelligence & Siri to "learn from how you use "Xfinity" to make suggestions across apps." This sounds somewhat useful, but also implies Comcast is collecting personal information from multiple apps on my iOS.

Does the Xfinity App really need this information for my internet services or can I safely turn them off without impact?

Xfinity is not collecting anything. It does not imply that at all.

It's your iPhone, and Apple Intelligence that collects data from the Xfinity app to learn from it, not the other way around.

The data for other services within your iPad. but, yes, you are free to turn it off if you want. It will just not show Xfinity as an option when you search fro things or content.
