Apple Music on PC playing songs at different volumes

I use apple music on my pc. I have a lot of playlists. I listen to them all the time. One in particular, I made a few months ago and haven't listened to in a while. When I made it, and listened to it, it was fine, all songs were the same level. I just started to listen to it and the first song was fine, but the next one was WAY quieter. No matter what adjustments I make, how many times I log out and log back in, try to adjust the levels on the individual songs, nothing is working. The sound levels are just fine when I use apple music on my iphone, or using carplay. What gives?

I quit using itunes for this reason and only lately has apple music been giving me grief. What gives Apple?

It seems that an update was released on the 15th of September, yahoo.

And I can say, that some developer really had to dig into it. However the results are... mixed.

I can imagine it's a good spaghetti code...

The volume slider does more respect reality, however it can still tend to drop to zero. But at least it visually moves by itself to a wrong value, which is, indeed, an upgrade!!!

Some of the issue are eventually related to Equalizer. It got disabled and reset upon app update.

After I enabled it, I've lost sound...

Also, I have troubles clicking album arts now (e.g. play button on them). The focus / onhover even is totally broken now. It's randomly flashing, triggering and de-triggering the onhover focus...

So... keep digging, I believe you will fix it soon.

//EDIT: onhover is messed up when EQ window is opened.

Please, Apple, fix this. It's getting worse. I listened to a playlist yesterday, and all was fine. Same playlist today, about half of the songs are normal volume, the other half at about half volume. Wouldn't be so bad if they were all in the front or back, but switching all the time makes listening uncomfortable. And no, I don't want to re-arrange my order.

I've had to make no updates to drivers, programs, or installed new software. Everything is up-to-date. Malware fighter has my apple and music files whitelisted.
