Can I update my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) from El Capitan to Monterey and if so how please?
I've reinstalled El Capitan using recovery after the computer was in storage but am limited with El Capitan.
I have 8GB Memory and 2TB SATA disc in the computer

I understand kaz-k but how to update from the current El Capitan please? In the App Store on my El Capitan it only has the next software OS available to download and when I try to install its says cannot install on this computer.

You can install Monterey on your iMac with Network Recovery Mode which you can into press Option+Shift+Command+R keys at the same time when you start up your iMac.
