Apple Music shuffle not playing full library on iPhone

Hello, I’ve been having a frustrating issue with Apple Music shuffle. Even though I have a very large library with a wide range of songs, shuffle seems to only pull from a smaller group of the same tracks, many of which are my favorites. But I don’t always want to hear those songs — I want shuffle to play everything in my library, including the songs that rarely or never get played. I know I can go search for specific tracks, but since I have so many songs and don’t always remember the names, I rely on shuffle to give me variety. Right now, it doesn’t feel like I’m hearing the full library I’ve built, and I’d love to know if there’s a way to make shuffle more balanced.

Apple Support have an article online (link below) that may be helpful:

Eg: says:

"You can shuffle all songs and albums in your library (play them in random order) or just shuffle a playlist or album. You can also repeat individual songs, playlists, or albums.

  1. Go to the Music app  on your iPhone.
  2. While a song is playing, tap the MiniPlayer to open the Now Playing screen.
  3. Tap , then do any of the following:
    • Play your songs in random order (shuffle): Tap . Tap again to turn off shuffle.
  • Repeat an album, playlist, or the entire queue: Tap .
    • Note: When multiple songs are repeating, you can view how many songs will be repeated—just scroll to the bottom of the queue.
    • Repeat a single song: Double-tap ."
