IPhone image cannot be removed from desktop

Yesterday I tried using IMAGE CAPTURE to transfer a big file from my phone to macbook pro. Watching a YouTube video I was finally able to do it. If you ever used image capture, there's an iphone image on your desktop that you use to move around. Well, the image was transferred but that image of my iphone cannot be removed from my desktop screen. It keeps saying it wants me to connect to my IPhone. How do I remove that iphone screen from my desktop? There's nothing to click on to close or remove it. I can't delete image capture as it's part of the operating system. I'm beside myself. I disconnected the Iphone but that image of an Iphone is still there waiting for me to connect my phone. I'm about to pull my hair out! PLEASE someone tell me how to get that **** thing off my desktop screen.

I've used Image Capture for numerous times on various versions of macOS to transfer photos and videos from phones to Mac, but it never involved displaying an actual image of the iPhone. The interface of Image Capture is primarily a sidebar of local devices and shared devices and a larger area listing photos and videos contained on the selected local device (such as an iPhone attached by calendar).

One program that does show an image of a connected iPhone is "iPhone Mirroring"; that is its primary interface. The way to close that window is indeed obscured. If you pass your cursor over the phone image from bottom to top, the window will expand upward to include the "traffic lights" where you can close it by clicking the red dot.
