Missing continuity markup feature in Preview on Mac
I feel like I'm having a mandela effect moment right now--but I swear you used to be able to use continuity markup in preview. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I would take a screenshot on my computer, and immediately mark it up on my ipad. It's been a few years since I've used this kind of feature but I recently tried to do it again and it took me about two hours of trying to figure out if my bluetooth settings were ok, my devices were compatible, or I was just missing something, only to find out you can only edit on ipad through mac using "quickview."
All I'm going to say is that when I've done this historically, I have NEVER had to open quickview. The continuity button was always right there in preview. Sometimes I didn't even have to click it, it just recognized that my ipad was open and I wanted to edit the document on there. Because I've also signed PDFs and such using this method was no problem (historically). Why on Earth is the continuity button not in preview... why does the default pdf viewer lack this incredibly helpful feature??
