Yesterday. I received a third party virus on my computer. Today, I am unable to drag and drop my iTunes music files onto a Garageband timeline? Ideas anyone? I have several hundred iTune song files on my iMac. I have always been able to drag and drop them onto Garageband. Yesterday. I received a third party virus on my computer. Is the song DRM protected?
I assume you are not using iTunes, as that has been replaced using Mac OS Sonoma, do you mean from your Music app?
Are you receiving any messages on the screen when you try?

To see if you installed any Malware or that third party applications that are causing a conflict with Mac OS, then provide the free EtreCheck report and post using the Additional Text option.

There are no known viruses in the wild that can infect macOS.

How about you actually explain what happened and describe the problem you're having now in detail, including the complete and exact contents of any error messages you're getting.
