Can Disk Utility create a disk label for macOS Sequoia?


Is it possible to use Disk Utility to create a disk label Reinstall macOS Sequoia will recognise?

Boot into Recovery (hold power until Options shows), open Disk Utility, select the internal drive, erase it with the right format and GUID partition map. Once that’s done, exit Disk Utility and reinstall macOS, the installer will now detect the freshly formatted disk.
