I have the latest iTunes for PC and windows 11. The headers for the display columns I have chosen, artist, composer, title etc do not show.

Are you using the Songs view of the library or a playlist? You may have some over large columns, try using the horizontal scroll control at the bottom of the window and/or turn off columns that you don't need and resize those that you do.

It depends somewhat on the versions involved, but an older version of iTunes may not be able to read your current library, which could mean that you need to restore an older version of the database, then add in any items that have been introduced to your library since it was backed up in the Previous iTunes Libraries folder.

Thanks for the response. Yes I have used the songs view- and all the others, resized and reduced the number of the columns. More generally the display I get is quite annoying compared to iTunes a couple of versions back. I’m wondering if I should try to return to the older one.
