“WhatsApp calls fail to connect camera on MacBook Pro (M2 Max, macOS Sequoia 15.6.1) with Studio Display”
WhatsApp video calls on version 252279 are not connecting properly with the Studio Display camera. The preview window (my view) shows only black, and the person on the other end cannot see me.
Audio works, and I can see the other party, but my video does not appear for me or for others. This issue is new, as it previously worked correctly.
In addition, audio has become erratic: sound often switches back to the MacBook Pro speakers, even when the settings show Studio Display or AirPods are selected. This makes it difficult to hear during calls.
My MacBook Pro is running the latest version of macOS (15.6.1). Similar audio issues are also affecting FaceTime.
