I have an Apple iPad less than a year old. It was updated a few days ago with the latest updates. Since that time, my iPad no longer shows the clock with date anymore. Being a senior, I don’t know if it’s identified as an App or Widget. But it’s really important to me. I could not find anything close or free within the Apple Apps. The clock and date were enabled when purchased. Please Help?

Check your Date & Time settings:
Settings > General > Date & Time
Change the date and time on iPad
As well as:
If you can't change the time or time zone on your Apple device
Presumably you have updated to iPadOS 18.6.x ?
Settings > General > About > iPadOS Version
Where do you expect to find the time and date display that is missing? Would this be at the top-left corner of the iPad screen, the Clock App, or a Home Screen widget? Somewhere else?
Try a forced restart of the iPad. Note that this will NOT affect any user data or settings. Despite what the description of the procedure states, this will sometimes help to clear any inconsistent or unexpected behavior. It's like rebooting your Mac or PC. No user data or settings are affected.
Hi, everything’s ok with date & time. I checked & performed what you suggested. The procedure did not accomplish the return of the clock and date notification on home page. Tried the procedure of adding widget within settings, but clock not listed with other Apps or Widgets. I mentioned in previous post that the clock and date have always been on my Home Screen, upper left hand corner…it was red in color.
