Launchpad causing icon relics to appear on screen

This issue has been brought up before but closed. Unfortunately it is still an issue with my Mac Mini M4 running Sequoia 15.6.1. A few minutes ago, I launched Calendar using launchpad. The Calendar icon is now displayed on top of all other items on my desktop. This happens frequently but not every time I use launchpad. Rebooting usually clears the icon (not sure it will in this case because I haven't rebooted yet).

The icon cannot be clicked on, selected, or moved. As I said it appears on top of all other items on my desktop including other applications.

What does the user mean by " The Calendar icon is now displayed on top of all other items on my desktop. " ?

Running the same M4 Mac Mini with Sequoia 15.6.1 with an External Display

Have Safari open and active as typing this reply

I can launch Calendar from Launchpad

The Application itself will appear on the Desktop

Depending on how Calendar has been was previously sized and placed

Calendar, in my configuration, will appear much like in image below

Safari in the background and Calendar in the foreground
