Can’t claim the Apple Music 6-months offer.

I’m a returning user. I’ve claimed the 3-months free trial and then subscribe after it ends from Apple Music for my new iPhone, and it’s been a year (but not a complete year yet. My subscription before expired at Sept. 6 of 2024).

For the questions now:

  1. Am I not eligible because of the previous subscription?
  2. Or not eligible yet because it’s not a full year after previous subscription?

This offer is for new and qualified returning subscribers only. If you are not currently a subscriber to Apple Music, and you have not previously subscribed to Apple Music or Apple One within the last 12 months or had access to Apple Music through a Family Plan within the last 12 months, you are eligible for this offer.

It appears you had a subscription within the last 12 months and that would make you not eligible.

From the way I read the statement, it would appear you are eligible on September 7th, but we certainly are not the deciders and for absolute verification it may be best to contact Apple directly.

I have also seen with previous free offers that they still didn't allow "stacking" free trials. With the 3 month free offer, if a user had already used a 1 month free trial, they had to pay for the first month, then got the remaining 2 months free, so they did get 3 months free, but that included the 1 month they already redeemed. Not sure if that applies here with this offer or not, so it would be best to contact Apple directly.
