iTunes Match songs not downloading on macOS Catalina
For three weeks now my songs labeled match will not download, I get a message saying “this item cannot be downloaded”. I’ve had match for a few years and always worked well.
cloud status shows purchased and uploaded songs play fine but all songs labeled match don’t.
my devices IPhone 16, iPad Pro,sync ok but obviously not playing matched songs either.
I tried signing in and out of my apple account, restarted iMac and devices,deleted music apps on devices and turned iTunes Match off and on,I updated cloud library countless times
I was thinking of deleting the matched songs and going into iTunes Store to retrieve the ones I purchased but strangely enough the matched songs do not show I’ve previously purchased
Now im thinking to unsubscribe to iTunes Match and subscribe again. Any thoughts
Apple support has been working on a solution but haven’t heard back and doubt I will.
Im running Catalina 10.15.7 any advice will be mutch appreciated and thank you
