Remote (second) screen connected to MacBook Air Sonoma: toolbar (not dock) is off the screen.

Remote (second) screen connected to MacBook Air Sonoma: toolbar (not dock) is off the screen. It's there because when I place the cursor outside the viewed space and click, the menus show up. I have already tried going to "Mission Control" to Uncheck the box next to "Displays Have Separate Spaces." The resolution for my monitor is correct at 1080p. Thanks in advance.
