Problems Running QuickTime & iMovie with OS 15.6.1

Upgraded my OS to the current 15.6.1. Now I can load any QuickTime .mov files. I also tried in iMovie with the same results. That is, nothing. Can't even load any files.

We understand you have a problem with being able to load / play .mov files in QuickTime.

Yet we don't have any details of the way you are trying to do this, and what happens when you try.

(eg: Tried double clicking a .mov file to open it ? or Chose File > Open File from the top menu bar)

Do you get an error message that may hep trouble-shoot the cause of the problem ?

Maybe browsing through the QuickTime Player User Guide for Mac - Apple Support can help ?

Great that you experimented with finding a way to view the files.

In what way did you try to load files ? Did you get an error message there ?

(Seems you would need to use File > Import to view a .mov file in iMovie app.)
