How can I stop my child from bypassing Screen Time?

I have screen time set up on their tablets, but I’ve noticed that they can randomly just ignore it. I just heard my 7 y/o on FaceTime with her cousin saying, “I’m still able to talk because I can ignore screen time”. I had to take her tablet. LOL

How do I prevent this from happening??? I’ve seen this same question asked as far back as 2018, which means this isn’t a new issue and Apple isn’t even trying to fix it. We chose Apple for them because android’s parental controls are an absolute joke, but Apple is giving parents a false sense of security!!! Idk how many times I’ve had to change the language back from “explicit” to “clean”, it’s never been intentionally changed, but if I don’t keep an eye on it, when it changes on its own my kids won’t have any protection.
