Small blue box with question mark in emails and missing bank statement details after Sequoia update

After a recent Sequoia update some emails are coming in and loading with a small blue box with a question mark in the centre. I am NOT talking about a blue border which all my internet searches seem to want to answer. I figure that out.

Also when I open my statements from my bank online the page has no data. Some headers and other decorative stuff but no details. I can access the document in my download folder.

This too happened after and Sequoia update and is the same on Safari, Firefox and Chrome and I checked my settings in Norton and it seems to be a OS system setting causing the issue since the update.

Ok I partially found an answer.

I use Firefox primarily as my web browser and it appears that they did an update as well and reset the default for viewing PDFs hence they went into the download folder.

A search of PDF settings on their site took me to a setting to use the default OS PDF reader and the statements now open as usual. I have not checked but I am assuming that updates to Safari and Chrome have done a similar thing or the reset on FF has changed the game on those sites as well.

Now I just need help on the little blue boxes with question marks in emails if you can.

Thanks

As a former Windows user, I can safely assure you that you don’t need any antivirus apps because they are the ones that typically cause panics and other serious issues.

Your Mac has built-in protection and a protected volume that can’t be changed.

You will find that without that extra, your Mac will run smoother than it has ever been.
